Got questions? No worries – we've got the answers ready for you!

IS A 5MM SELF ADHESIVE CORK BOARD ROLL SUITABLE FOR MAKING A PINBOARD?

Absolutely, 5mm is the standard minimum thickness for corkboards. Pairing it with a soft fibreboard backing ensures stability and affordability.

Pro tip: If you plan to use your corkboard frequently, go for a thicker option—between 8 and 10mm for added durability.

CAN SELF-ADHESIVE 5MM CORK ROLL STICK TO UNEVEN OR CURVED WALLS?

Not ideal, and we don’t recommend it. The adhesive layer struggles to bond properly on rough or curved surfaces, increasing the risk of peeling over time.

Important: For the best results, only apply to clean, dry, flat surfaces such as plasterboard or furniture panels.

5MM CORK ROLL VS. SHEETS – WHICH WORKS BETTER FOR A CORKBOARD?

The choice depends on your board size. For larger boards, rolls are better since they cover bigger areas without visible seams.

For smaller boards, sheets are more convenient—usually, one or two panels are all you need.

Do your important notes and reminders always seem to disappear? Cork helps you stay organised. A practical pinboard keeps your shopping lists and daily tasks in one place—no more endless searching.

Setting it up is a breeze—just peel off the backing, press the cork onto the wall, and that’s it! No drilling, no glue, no hassle. Sure, you could try gluing it yourself, but can you guarantee it’ll be mess-free? How many times have “easy” DIY projects turned into hours of frustration? That’s why sometimes, simplicity is the best choice.

Cork isn’t just practical—it’s also eco-friendly. Harvested without damaging trees, a single cork oak can produce bark for over 16 cycles. The tree keeps growing, absorbing CO₂, and you get a long-lasting pinboard that serves you for years.
