Self adhesive cork

You start an installation and instantly know what’s coming: mess, sticky hands, and frustration as everything takes longer than it should. The glue smudges, doesn’t work properly, and dries too slowly. How many times have you wanted to just give up? Instead of struggling, try self adhesive cork. Quick to install, mess-free, and with instant results! Available in any format you need – rolls, sheets, or strips.

You probably have a few questions, so we’ve prepared the answers!

CAN SELF ADHESIVE CORK BE APPLIED TO ALL SURFACES?

No, self-adhesive cork works best on smooth, flat, clean, and dry surfaces, such as plasterboard or furniture panels.

Think of it like a phone screen protector – a dusty, greasy, or scratched screen won’t hold it properly. It’s the same with natural cork: the better you prepare the surface, the stronger the bond will be.

CAN SELF ADHESIVE CORK BE USED OUTDOORS?

We don’t recommend using self-adhesive cork outdoors – the sheets won’t withstand constant exposure to moisture and temperature fluctuations. In this case, it’s better to consider an expanded cork façade.

CAN I PAINT SELF-ADHESIVE CORK?

Yes, it’s best to use paints for natural cork.

WHAT THICKNESS DOES SELF-ADHESIVE CORK COME IN?

We offer a variety of cork thicknesses. Thinner options (e.g., 2–3 mm) are perfect for wall decorations, while thicker ones (5–10 mm) are ideal for creating pinboards. If you’re looking for thermal or acoustic insulation, go for cork with a thickness of over 10 mm.

IS CORK A SUITABLE MATERIAL FOR ALLERGY SUFFERERS?

Yes, it’s a natural material that doesn’t absorb dust, mould, or mites. It’s hypoallergenic, making it a great choice for allergy and asthma sufferers.

Have you ever assembled something with instructions so long that you could have watched a few episodes of your favourite series in the meantime? Self-adhesive cork is much simpler. Just peel off the backing and stick it – no lengthy instructions, no tools, and no mess. The rest of your time? Spent catching up on your shows, not wrestling with a hammer or a mop.

You can choose from various thicknesses and formats: rolls, sheets, or strips. Rolls are perfect for covering large areas, while sheets are a great option for smaller projects—they’re easier to fit to specific surfaces. And strips? They’re ideal for the tiniest tasks, like edging furniture.

Plastic cracks, ends up in the bin, pollutes the environment, and leaves you with an empty wallet. Cork, on the other hand, is a durable, natural material, so you don’t need to keep replacing it. Instead of throwing things away, you’re using something that lasts for years and doesn’t harm the planet. One choice, but a huge difference—not just for the environment, but for your wallet too.
