You probably have a few questions, so we’ve prepared the answers!
WHAT ARE NATURAL CORK SPACERS USED FOR?
They protect glass during transport and storage. Natural cork spacers prevent scratches, cracks, and shifting of materials during transit. They separate panes and create a barrier, ensuring they don’t collide with each other.
WHEN SHOULD I CHOOSE LOW-TACK VS HIGH-TACK?
Low-Tack spacers use a gentler adhesive that’s easy to remove and leaves no residue, making them ideal for direct application on glass.
High-Tack spacers, on the other hand, have a stronger adhesive and are typically applied to protective film, which is later removed. They are suitable not only for glass but also for unconventional surfaces like chipboard, fibreboard, or very rough materials, where a firm hold is essential—even if the adhesive may leave marks.
CAN I USE NATURAL CORK DISTANCE SEPARATOR MULTIPLE TIMES?
No, natural cork spacers are designed for single use as they provide optimal protection the first time. After use, their properties may weaken, meaning they no longer guarantee the same level of safety (similar to packing tape or stretch wrap).
DO CORK SPACERS LEAVE MARKS ON GLASS AFTER REMOVAL?
The type of spacer makes a big difference here. Low-Tack spacers use a gentler adhesive that’s easy to remove and doesn’t leave any residue. High-Tack spacers may leave adhesive traces due to their stronger glue, so they shouldn’t be applied directly to glass if avoiding marks is a priority.
Auto-adhesive spacers are the safest option in this regard, as they contain no glue at all. They’re the best choice if you want to completely eliminate the use of adhesive.
CAN LOW-TACK AND HIGH-TACK CORK SPACERS BE USED FOR CAR WINDOWS?
Low-Tack cork spacers are ideal for car windows, as they can be removed without leaving any residue.
If stronger protection is needed (e.g., for very heavy glass or long-distance transport), High-Tack spacers can be used, but only on protective film—not directly on the glass—since they may leave visible adhesive marks.
Think about how much time and money you lose replacing damaged glass. A simple step—using cork spacers—completely solves this problem!

#1 FEWER DAMAGES = FEWER COMPLAINTS
Anyone handling glass transport knows how fragile this material can be. Cork spacers provide peace of mind, even when transporting the most delicate glass items.
Cork spacers offer superior shock absorption compared to standard foam alternatives. This ensures safer and smoother transport, with your goods arriving intact and undamaged to the customer.
#2 SIGNIFICANT SAVINGS
Replacing damaged glass isn’t just a waste of time—it’s a drain on your budget. A set of cork spacers, costing only a fraction of that, eliminates the risk of costly losses, translating into tangible savings.
Our clients in the glass industry confirm it—since introducing cork spacers, the number of damages during transport has dropped significantly. Complaints are no longer a part of their budget, because they simply don’t happen.
#3 SETS YOUR BUSINESS APART
Choosing cork spacers is a step toward environmentally conscious business practices. Natural cork is a renewable, and biodegradable material that reduces environmental impact.
Switching to cork spacers is an easy way to incorporate planet-friendly solutions into your daily operations. Customers increasingly value companies that show a commitment to sustainability.
#4 CORK SPACERS – NOT JUST FOR GLASS
Natural cork offers more than just glass protection—it’s a versatile solution for safeguarding various materials.
Stone furniture, aluminium components, PVC surfaces, or delicate plastics—natural cork performs equally well. It prevents scratches, stabilizes, and cushions effectively.
